Upendra's upcoming film "UI" has been creating a buzz for its innovative use of technology. The filmmakers shared that they used 200 DSLR cameras to capture footage for creating the actor's body double, which was then scanned using 3D technology. This allowed for a seamless integration of the virtual body double into the film's scenes, according to director Naveen Manoharan. The action thriller, produced by G Manoharan and Sreekanth K P and featuring Reeshma Nanaiah in a lead role, is set to release on December 20. The filmmakers combined practical sets with cutting-edge virtual reality technology to create a visually stunning world, resulting in over 1,400 VFX shots. One shot even utilized Virtual Reality technology and a mocobot camera for an immersive experience. They also constructed a massive eight-acre set to portray a separate city for the shoot. With all the VFX work now completed, Upendra expressed excitement about sharing the film with audiences. Viewers can look forward to experiencing the visual extravaganza of UI in multiple languages. Upendra mentioned that the songs, posters, and teasers have set the stage for a thought-provoking film that will stand out.
